What tasks can I post?
Almost any lawful task, except licensed trades and prohibited work.
For customers
You can post a wide range of tasks: moving and deliveries, handyman jobs, furniture assembly, cleaning, gardening, IT help, web development, graphic design, writing, business support, errands, event help, tutoring, pet care and more. If nothing fits, choose “Something else”; those tasks are checked by Shando before they go live.
Licensed or regulated work is not offered on Shando, including electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, building work, asbestos removal, childcare, personal care, security and passenger transport. If your description looks like it involves licensed work, the task goes to Shando for review first. If only part of the job is unlicensed (for example, assembling a bed frame but not wiring a light), say so clearly.
Some tasks can’t be posted at all, such as anything illegal, weapons, drugs, fake documents or reviews, academic cheating, adult services and surveillance of other people. These are blocked when you post.
Each category lists what it includes and excludes, and is switched on state by state.
